The Level 24 Wilderness Green Dragons have many opportunities for Rangers to make Kills. After done runescape quest “lost city”take your best Dragon Hide gear, a Magic Bow and Bronze arrows. There are several Dead Trees that you can run behind and hide after your first shot at the Dragon. It takes a little bit of practice, but you will get the hang of it. You will kill the Dragon; get the Dragon Bones, Dragon Hide, Loot, and your arrows back. This is a safe way to kill both Green and Blue Dragons. It will take you a bit longer to get kills this way. But you will not have to worry about spending money on food. You can kill more dragons with a higher level arrow, but your cost per kill will increase. Weigh your options. The choice is yours.

Blue Dragons can be found in Taverley Dungeon. A Dusty Key is necessary to get in to battle them. There are a couple places that you can Range and one good spot where you can use your Dragon Halberd, if you have one.

The other great location for Fighting Blue Dragons is the Hero’s Guild Basement. There are no mazes to negotiate, no other creatures to battle. It’s just you and him. You can Range or Halberd the Blue Dragon safely from down there as well. Just stand outside the door of the cage and fire or slash away. Watch out though, because sometime n00b’s will open up the gate and then you will have a very angry dragon on your tail. The other option, which believe it or not is actually safer, is to fight the dragon inside the cage as shown in the picture below. Stand on the far side up against the wall. When a Dragon appears shot him with any magic spell or bow and arrow. He will come over and then you can attack him your halberd. You don’t need armor, food, or even an Anti-Dragon Shield. Bring some Nature runes and a Fire Staff the High Alch, and spend the day making runescape gold.
